The existing kitchen and shared living room space were a part of an addition that was carefully designed and built in the late 90’s. The homeowners came to Custom Kitchens with a desire to update some aspects of the kitchen, including backsplash, countertop, sink and faucet, undercabinet lighting, range and refrigerator. They wanted to maintain a monochromatic scheme of white on white as well as the unique waterfall feature on either side of the island. With the help of the designer, the homeowners chose an elegant, handmade tile for the backsplash. The countertop and paint color selections were secondary, and carefully selected to marry the existing shades of white with the new backsplash tile.
