This lounge room was really ready for some TLC. As is often the case, there was a mixture of furniture in the existing space, which typically is acquired over the years with no particular design direction involved. The old fireplace was holding the scheme firmly in the '90s with its warm sandstone tones, missing the opportunity to turn heads. The newly tiled fireplace is a striking centrepiece to this relaxed but contemporary lounge room.
