We used Alix Helps Interiors when we were renovating our home. Alix and her team were nothing short of miracle workers. From the very first visit, where we talked about how we wanted to feel in our house, to drawings and renders, and material selection - Alix was exceptional. She managed to tease out how we wanted to feel in our house, and turn it into a tangible design that ticked all our boxes. The team expertly project managed the building phase of the project. As two busy working professionals, knowing that someone competent is in charge of the day-to-day decisions on the project was reassuring. We would highly recommend Alix Helps Interiors for any project, and will definitely use them again for any future work we undertake.

When I first entered my townhouse it was nice but only felt like a house. It did not give me a sense of comfort or warmth. With Alix’s help it is now a home, a place which I enjoy very much and feel very comfortable. From my very first meeting with Alix, through to completion I was impressed with her enthusiasm, sense of style and commitment to detail. She carefully took on board my comments and added her own (very valuable) suggestions and was able to put together a very lovely design brief. She then supervised the project to completion ensuring that the design met the brief, all work was completed in a timely manner and even adding styling hints/tips along the way. Nothing appeared too hard. The final design was beyond my expectations and I admit that I do not think I could have achieved the final lovely home look without Alix. Alix has been instrumental in helping us bring our self managed renovation project to a completion of the highest standards. She is truly professional, yet relaxed and thoughtful to work with. She is able to work very well with the ideas I had (stuck in my head!!) and articulated them to life in a way that gets a "wow" out of friends and family. I'm grateful for sometimes having pushed out of my comfort zone as the results are amazing and speak for themselves. We appreciated the flexibility and ability to breakdown the project into manageable portions from a timeline and financial point and lastly a huge thank you for always being available to trouble shoot on all elements of the project!

I didn’t know where to start with renovations. Our house was falling apart as we kept putting it off. Finding Alix was like a miracle. In our first meeting I could tell she knew exactly what we wanted. She saved me countless hours of shopping and decision making. She produced wonderful mood boards and plans for each area of the house with a few different options all of which were perfect. She found us some great builders and helped us through the whole process which was pretty much stress free. Our new kitchen and bathrooms look amazing and they are also very practical for our family. Alix helped us with custom joinery for our lounge and bathroom and the wallpaper, paint selection and lighting selection for our lounge room and kitchen. We are very happy with the end result., Alix worked with us to create a design that fitted our budget and was able to organise trades.

Alix is amazing. She worked with me while we were overseas and also once back in Oz to furnish our house. Asking the right questions to completely understand what we love and don't love. She absolutely nailed every room that we asked her to furnish and came in on budget as well. We love the industrial, eclectic style and Alix was able to find everything that met our needs and provided experienced advice if something wasn't going to be very functional. We have two young kids and a large dog, and Alix was able to incorporate everyone's needs with play spaces, storage options, fun family "hygge" spaces and entertaining areas. In addition the vendors that Alix partners with, provide the same work ethic, care, attention and quality that Alix does, "wow-ing" us with every reveal! Lastly, and most importantly, Alix has such a fun loving personality, She's super fun to work with and will definitely use her again. Can't say enough wonderful things about her! I have worked with Alix on a number of renovation projects. She has a great eye for design, materials and colours. She has a practical approach to design, that not only enables the renovation to look amazing but is practical and able to be built by suppliers. Having spent a long time thinking about my bathroom renovation, I contacted Alix from Alix Helps Interiors with a rough idea of what I wanted. Her portfolio reflected the look and feel I wanted, and I really needed advice and guidance from a pro. I'd prepared some mood boards, and showed her the rest of my apartment to get her familiar with what I was aiming for, I was out of my depth when it came to translate that into an actual plan. Alex knew her stuff, quickly grasping the ideas I had in my head and pulled it together into a plan I was comfortable and excited about. Her 3D renders were impressive and gave me the confidence that I was in expert hands. Alex took great consideration with my needs and designed a bathroom that met both my budget and design expectations. Her suggestions for finishings, fittings, cabinetry and tiles were fabulous and beyond what I could imagine for myself. She crafted a bathroom that was practical for my space and storage needs (oh my, THAT vanity!!!) whilst wowing me with absolutely stunning design, right down to the minute details. She allowed for my feedback and time to consider things carefully, and I really trusted her judgement. All the practical things, like positioning of the power points, shower drainage, the heated towel rail, and underfloor heating were taken care of. She even prepared me a style and specification guide for my entire renovation, 3D rendering the finer details to ensure nothing was missed in the actual build. The result is a bathroom I am totally and utterly in love with. I love that its so beautiful yet so functional! And I adore that guests walk into my bathroom and go ‘WOW!!’ Overall, Alex was warm, approachable and absolutely nailed my brief, exceeding what I could possibly have dreamed up for myself. I cannot recommend her highly enough!
