Macmasters Beach
The design intention on this project was for a coastal retreat for the owners. This involved large structural additions and alterations to capture the coastal location. A full external façade upgrade and internal renovation transformed this house into a luxury beachside home
Careful consideration had to be given to the addition of large structural elements on the seaward side of the build as access was restricted.
Exposure to high winds meant the structure was mainly composed of structural steel that needed to be concealed to maintain the beach feel of the home. Large rough sawn recycled hardwood timbers were employed externally and internally as a feature of the project.
Due to the location of the project and its close proximity to the ocean, materials were carefully selected to ensure their durability.
It gave our company great satisfaction to provide this home for our wonderful clients and their family.
