This gorgeous Victorian home in Maribyrnong had been extended prior, but still lacked a main bedroom with ensuite. After completing a previous renovation together, on the upstairs bathroom, our clients wanted to add an ensuite & renew the bathroom downstairs, in an improved overall layout.

We transformed a once open living space, adjacent to a bedroom, into a luxurious bedroom with ensuite & walk in robe.

With a fireplace in the bedroom, we created openings either side to access the ensuite on one side and the walk-in robe on the other. This was advantageous as we could increase the bedroom space by removing the existing wardrobes in the room.

Incorporating the same theme and high-quality products as the upstairs bathroom completed last year, the ensuite boasts a fresh twist with a vibrant green palette and stylish brass tapware. Catering to the client’s preference for shades of blue and green, this renovation captures their unique style and taste. Taking advantage of the high ceilings, the walk-in robe maximizes storage space, ensuring a functional and organized area.

The bathroom underwent a similar transformation, aligning with the ensuite’s theme while incorporating slightly different shades of green for a coordinated, yet distinctive look. A linen cabinet was cleverly integrated to the bathroom to take up an awkward corner under the staircase.

With a vision for a fully cohesive home, the clients plan to extend the theme to future renovations in the kitchen, study, and laundry, completing the overall aesthetic of their dream home.
