There was an empty space between two buildings - one occupied by a modelling studio and another used as a factory. We turned this space into a small covered courtyard for the modelling studio. Steel & timber are the main materials here, used to build the custom designed planter boxes, seating and roof. The roof is designed so that maximum daylight still enters the windows of both buildings and rainwater flows down a number of steel chains directly into the planter boxes.
