Andrew and Karen wanted an open, bespoke kitchen with clearly defined spaces for cooking, dining and relaxing. Our designers increased the area available with the rear extension the couple were hoping for.
The soft lustre of the classic Broadoak Natural doors offset polished Emerald Pearl granite worktop, upstands and windowsill. A classic muted colour pallet for the walls complements the overall design perfectly.
A beautifully curved kitchen island breaks up the room, with practical open cabinetry for the living area and useful storage for the kitchen. The peninsular provides an ideal spot for the family to chat about their day.
Modern touches come in the way of a Form bowl and half sink with Spyra spray tap. There are various in-built storage solutions such as handy spice trays, a pull-out towel rail and in-cabinet chrome shelves. Classic Quickstep flooring completes the look, maintaining the flow and uniting the distinct areas.
"When we decided we wanted a new, bigger kitchen, we visited several kitchen designers and were told to sort out an extension before they could begin to design the kitchen. This sounded daunting to us! Fortunately, Milligan and Jessop Design had a much better suggestion – they would manage the whole project.
They kept disruption to an absolute minimum throughout, and they finished on time and on budget. They certainly went above and beyond what we’d expected. The whole process was a pleasure, rather than the chore we’d feared it might be when we spoke to the other kitchen companies. Overall, we’ve now got a “wow factor” kitchen and we’ve been absolutely delighted with all aspects of the product and service provided by Neil and all his staff"
