Salt Beach House
The Salt Beach House was conceived as a robust weathered shell protecting a slightly more delicate interior.
A genuine 'sweep out' beach shack with a strong connection to the landscape, driven by simple but solid design principles and a fun place for a young family to enjoy the sun, sand and water with a few creature comforts thrown in. The home challenges the current social vernacular of the Salt Village beachfront properties. It was hoped that a simple but classy design would gain acceptance and so far comments have been very encouraging. In fact, I believe that the success of this project has more people questioning what is truly important in a beach house.
