SkyTower Apartment Decorating Project

Decorating a 2-bedroom + study apartment in Brisbane CBD’s Skytower complex, on the 69th floor. This home was part of the Surf Life Saving Lottery prize pool.

With 180-degree views of the heart of Brisbane, I had the exciting opportunity to create a fresh, contemporary look that would appeal to young, city-dwelling professionals. The final look was crucial for incentivising people to buy a ticket and go in the draw to win the home.

The living room is the best spot in the apartment. From any sitting spot you can have breath taking views of Brisbane city and beyond. The blue velvet chairs pictured are swivel so this enables you to pivot the view, coffee table, kitchen or even dining area.

The city views are incredible in this apartment, therefore we chose a glass table so it did not impinge on the view.

Brief was to use a little coluor in the bathroom to make it pop for marketing photos. Mustard colour towels were used, and a green plant to add freshness to the space.

Guest Bedroom. This room was styled differently from the main bedroom, to add a fun element but ensured it still worked with the theme of the apartment.

The study was a small space so furniture needed to be compact. Greenery was added for freshness and feature office chair and artwork to add that splash of colour and personality.
