The double brick house is lovingly extended to invite the luscious vege garden with chook run and a well-loved walnut tree, into a new living area. Previously this garden is only accessible via a dim laundry, and rickety stairs. The renovation and extension replaced the brick laundry structure which blocked all the northern light into the interfacing area, and opened up the possibility of sitting and watching the trees and garden from an indoor sanctuary. Bi-folding windows when open allows the sounds of bird life and garden in. When closed, the double-glazing and well insulated envelope become a tranquil and bright place to dwell, and meditate.
