The Yaroomba House

Our clients had grand plans for their tired house and we were more than happy to help bring their dream home to life! A complete renovation of the existing house was undertaken with extensions added for a full garage and guest wing. The entire house was gutted and re-configured to create our clients forever home, in a contemporary classic style that perfectly suits their traditional furniture and artwork, as collected over a lifetime. The house sits comfortably in its natural surrounds and invites the outside in with the use of multiple picture windows, French doors and louvres, while all new landscaping was created to meld beautifully with the surrounding natives.

Beautiful old beams were re-used to create a stunning entrance to this grand home. Jasmine will eventually grow up and over these recycled timber beams to envelop the senses upon entry.

Custom joinery in timber veneer and white 2 pac was designed and created for the living room to house the TV and sound system, while allowing plenty of space for books and display items. A subtle textured wallpaper is featured to create a hint of colour and interest.

A new gas fireplace was included with a handcrafted carrara marble fireplace mantle was installed to add ambiance and warmth to the formal living area, while a subtle toned textured wallpaper adds to the overall sense of luxury.

The powder room features a lovely wallpaper in a soft sage green and subtle geometric pattern, with uplighting creating a warm glow. The carrara marble topped vanity was custom made and has feature VJ panelling behind.
