V&C House – Frenchs Forest
Our clients are keen gardeners, with an existing beautifully landscaped rear garden and vegetable patch. Their brief to us was to open up the ground floor of the house, reconfigure some aspects of the ground floor and allow easy access to their stunning garden.
In addition the client wanted plans for a first floor addition drawn up. The plan was to update the house for future sale without overcapitalising. The objective was to maximise the potential re-sale value and appeal to a mass market. The short time frame allowed for CDC only, as a DA process could potentially have extended the timeframe beyond the requirements of the client.
Two options were prepared for the client, with the second, more expansive option being chosen, which included a small extension to the ground floor as well as the first floor addition.
The CDC was approved, the project constructed and the property was sold within nine months of completion.
The existing landscaping was completed by Joanne Green Landscapes.
