Flexibility of the traditional formal style allowed for an interpreted design style with contemporary lines and versatility the two key elements which brought this garden design together.

Inspiration was drawn from the clients love of traditional plantings with a hint of adaptation of leaf structure and colours. Functionality was paramount along with the opportunity for relaxation areas to sit and appreciate the space.

Symmetry and geometry of formal low clipped hedging tweaked the formal design rules with pockets of contemporary planting order. Simple shapes through pathways, vertical lines and overhead features creates a symphony of balanced views for the visitor whilst also allowing for calming retreats of relaxation.
