This country homestead was lacking in garden inspiration. The views of the valley required a garden that would frame and complement whilst not interfering with the vistas beyond. The client had a great sense of what they wanted and provided excellent examples from country style magazines which narrowed down on the style they were after. The local environment was a great consideration as the garden and the surrounding bush needed to balance one another. The end result was multiple spaces that allowed for entertaining, outdoor living, children's play spaces and quiet nooks for contemplation.
