The brief was to create a conceptual design, offering new opportunities to engage the existing environment with lifestyle requirements of the community. Increasing the reserves pedestrian links, whilst encouraging and supporting pedestrian activity through improved way-finding opportunities, safe, direct, and attractive corridors, and increased rest spots. This design encourages sense of place and increases community patronage and social cohesion through innovative and functional solutions.
