After a referral from a family member we were approached by the current owners of this split level townhouse, located in the heart of Highton. We were asked to help update the kitchen and bathroom and improve the internal temperature of the townhouse, set to be their permanent address after a move from sunny interstate.
The existing kitchen which is ample in size, and a functional layout breaks the ground level into two small areas. Our vision is to make the space feel bigger by creating built in joinery around the perimeter of the space to house the kitchen and laundry (currently taking up valuable floor area in the bathroom) leaving the rest of the ground floor area flexible enough to entertain either as a sit down space or as a beautiful standing space for a soirée.
With the bathroom located on third level of the townhouse, set to be re-organised to make the space feel both bigger and higher with the removal of a false ceiling and the permanent plumbing fixtures set to line the external wall only.
