Camp Hill Renovation
It has been an absolute pleasure renovating this beautiful family home in Camp Hill on Brisbane's southside. We have been working with these clients since October 2014 planning and completing the construction of stage one of this project in April 2015. There were two main objectives to this renovation, the first was to create
1. Open Plan Living & Extension
The original top floor layout prior to renovation was separate living and dining. The two walls in the kitchen were to be removed as well as the kitchen window. The front wall was also removed to extend the living area and master bedrooms onto the front deck to create that much needed additional living space.
The completed living and kitchen areas are now open plan with beautiful bifold windows leading onto the rear deck overlooking the sparkling inground pool. At the front of the home the living area has been extended and a gorgeous bay window with plantation shutters installed. No expense has been spared with 2 pac kitchen finishes, 40mm stone benchtops and top of the line Smeg Appliances. The refrigerator has been intergrated to complete this stunning kitchen. Internal stairs now connect the newly built in ground floor to the dining room.
2. Ground Floor Built In
The ground floor was legal height so this was the perfect oppourtunity to extend this home. Building in underneath has added two large bedrooms with built in robes, 3rd Bathroom, large rumpus room and tandem garage. Feature cabinetry underneath the stairs and custom laundry with shelf, hanging rails and feature tap sing functional elegance. New front and external stairs and pool by Norfolk Pools complete the first stage of this renovation.
The final stage of the project will be the remaining internal renovation of the top floor which includes remodelling of the ensuite and walk-in robe as well as the main bathroom. Works to be completed at a later date.
We really enjoyed working with these wonderful clients, seeing their ideas come to life and their excitement as the build progressed was very rewarding. We can't wait to work with them again when they are ready to complete stage two of their renovation
