Campbell
A recently purchased residence situated in a beautiful tree lined street with exquisite views, the brief given by our client for this family home was to create a warm and comfortable home. The house embraces a refined interior with bespoke joinery, new finishes and fixtures, flooring, lighting, fabric selections and window treatments. The selection of interior and exterior paint colours and space planning were part of the brief. Use of a bold exterior colour palette with a pop of unexpected blue on the entry doors has transformed the home into a home with strong street presence and attitude. Spaces have been created to display the client's diverse and impressive collection of artworks and artefacts. A "gallery" has been created in the stairwell with new solid half walls and a bold metal railing which now replaces the original marine wire and metal railing. The clients were keen to incorporate key antique pieces into their spaces which were brought to life with luxurious fabrics. The balcony has been furnished as an outdoor room with a custom designed 10-seater dining table. The combination of the new exterior colour, their collection of large terracotta pots of clipped Buxus and furniture add a classic and timeless feel to what was a dull and uninviting balcony. The overall result is a residence that truly reflects the client's brief and personality.
