The brief was to expand the kitchen and living areas. The back of the house was extended to create a very open plan living, dining and butler's pantry to accommodate a busy young family. The original small kitchen became the master ensuite. Our clients were keen to keep the extension fairly classic in keeping with the heritage of the home. Shaker style cabinetry and classic English tapware was specified, the copper egg pendants over the island and sheer ripple fold curtains bring a relaxed contemporary feel to the home.
