The brief was to renovate an existing upper level into a private parents retreat.
Our clients wanted a space were they could retreat to , with plenty of light and storage.
The upper level of this heritage home was built into the roof space, the existing bedroom was dark and the adjoining ensuite was even darker very poky with a steep vaulted ceiling. With a clever design we were able to change the floor plan and create a seperate bedroom, open plan wardrobe with dressing table and luxuriously sized ensuite with a 3m long custom vanity, there was even room for a study. Skylights were added to allow plenty of natural light into the space.
NN Collective selected all materials and finishes, the design of joinery throughout, ensuite design, furniture, soft furnishings and window furnishings.
