A small low maintenance courtyard with a hint of Asia inspired by the clients travels and interior artifacts. Notice the small section of deck which from inside appears to be an extension of the internal flooring. To maximise a feeling of spaciousness I have incorporated colours on multiple surfaces, depth of colour to recede boundaries, mirrors and the deck extension.
