Hills Family Home: Upstairs
A CHARMING MEDLEY OF VISUALLY COHESIVE BEDROOMS WITH DISTINCT PERSONALITY & INDIVIDUAL STYLE.
Following the successful ground floor renovation of this Hills family home, RSd were invited back to rejuvenate the upper level. The couple wanted to create an enticing haven for their blended brood of grown-up children and increasing number of grandchildren; and feel proud to invite friends and guests to stay overnight.
In alignment with the Ground Floor design Michelle followed an eclectic concept marrying the couples preferred Scandi and ‘traditional' styles; whilst aiming to convey a different mood and expression in each bedroom to satisfy diverse family tastes. Hues of blues and greys with brass and black accents connect the spaces but differing proportions of colours help to create distinct atmospheres. Subtle stylistic cues, pattern and texture have helped to define character.
The finished home now abounds in alternate, peaceful retreats creating a true haven for every member of the family and their guests.
