Home Extension to heritage home

Due to heritage restrictions at this home, the home extension was entirely at the rear of the home, which meant that the front facade was left untouched, so that the heritage streetscape could remain intact.

The major home addition/extension at the rear of the residence included a new Living area, Dining, Kitchen, Ensuite, Bathroom, Powder room, Laundry, Walk-in Robes, Alfresco, and an Attic.

Before the renovation the house was dark and poky, with little natural light, and the bathrooms and kitchen were particularly worn out, quite small and very dated.

This home has been completely transformed with open plan living providing plenty of space that is flooded with natural light. The modern fixtures and fittings have brought the home into the current era, while being sensitive to the original heritage of the home.

In typical Amerex signature style, the many features and character of the by-gone era were carried through to the new areas, such as high ceilings, jarrah floorboards and skirting, character cornice and ceiling roses.
