This renovation of an 1850’s farm house included enclosing an outdoor porch and squaring off the mansard roof line and creating an inviting and appropriately scaled covered sitting porch with views out to Middletown’s Second Beach. Great care was taken to use materials that were original to the house, cedar shingle roofing with authentic wood gutters were reinstated along with all new custom wood windows and doors. The Owner's eclectic design taste from living in different countries is reflected in the interior finishes and decoration.
