Working with the architect & client, Retreat Design was commissioned to design and project manage the kitchen and bathrooms in this Mount Hawthorn new build extension. The young, professional home owners wanted a unique and innovative design solution and were not afraid to push certain design boundaries.
Using Arrital’s Karisma collection in contrasting tones of matt black glass for the Island bench cabinetry and white glass for the back wall, a cool, sleek finish was achieved.
A stainless steel countertop with welded sink, a Zip Hydro Tap and an Eve Tap by KWC, provide functionality as well as beauty in this edgy kitchen. To add a modern contrast to the warm timber flooring, Porcelanosa Cubica Nero tiles give a punchy 3D effect as the splash back. Complementing this sleek kitchen are Smeg appliances and integrated fridges.
