Mt Martha - Bathroom
The classic grey and white tiles with a gorgeous freestanding bath and clever niches with penny round tiles sets this bathroom off at our Mt Martha project, it is divine. Check out the before and after photos.
Firstly, our client Amanda is one of those dream clients that made all of us freshly baked cakes, muffins, biscuits that were delicious, and of course there was constant offerings of tea and coffee all day every day throughout the entire renovation.
It was such a fun, stress free project to build, and our guys have loved every minute of it - thank you Amanda!
Everything in this project is from @beaumont.tiles The Belga Grey with White Satin tiles have been such a successful and popular tile choice for quite some time now, we have used it here, and in many of our other recent projects too.
The gorgeous Paola freestanding bath from @fienza_bathware is stunning, and the custom built niche above it with penny round tiles and an LED light that comes on automatically through a small sensor in the room takes it to another level.
Our clients wanted to keep and open elegant feeling in the room that was going to be functional for years to come through their retirement. With a walk-in shower, freestanding bath, a double basin wall hung vanity, back to wall toilet, and chrome tap ware off the wall, it looks sensational.
Although the bathroom looked nice before starting, it was leaking and had rotten timber frames underneath the shower base. So we ripped it all out, replaced what was rotten and reconfigured the shower base to our custom design that is bullet proof and will last the test of time.
Too often we see homes that are not very old with extremely bad timber damage due to leaking showers. It is something that frustrates us because it really isn't that hard to get right in the first place. It is sad to say we see it every day, and the only real way to fix it properly is to rip it all out and build it again.
We altered the floor and walls to suit the new configuration, replaced the rotten timber, created a walk-in shower, built custom niches, rewired the room for better lighting, and upgraded all of the water and waste pipes too.
To finish it all off, the ensuite and bedroom were freshly painted and new carpet was installed in the bedroom.
I would like to thank our wonderful clients for allowing us to renovate their home, they were amazing to work with through the COVID-19 pandemic.
Thanks again to my awesome trade team for always being so reliable, caring about our clients, and striving for excellence.
