The client of this property enlisted our help to bring life, light and some personality into their home. Storage was an absolute must for this home, and we were able to deliver in spades. The custom wine rack was installed into the underside of the stairs which was a previously underused and under-appreciated area of this space but now has become a focal point that houses the owner’s wine collection.

The living room was an open area that you entered straight into from the front door and didn’t have any storage for your everyday items which created a large amount of dead space. The introduction of a stand-alone storage unit created an intentional place for the television while providing much needed storage to the entryway.

The expansive kitchen was to be light, functional and not just white with the rich warm grey tone added to the cabinetry creating personality and bringing visual interest into the space. The clean and clear benchtops have been made possible with the use of a hidden drinks/prep pantry which hides all of the necessary appliances such as toasters, kettles and blenders to maintain clean lines within the home.

The bathrooms needed to be functional and bring a sense of spaciousness and this was achieved by using large format tiles in a pale tone on the floor and running the same tiles the length of the walls allowing the break between walls and floors to appear seamless giving the illusion of space. The natural timber vanity unit has added a warm detail that brings an organic look with natural timber veining creating a subtle and elegant focal point.

The client was thrilled with the end results of this project and has been blown away by how the additional storage has impacted their day-to-day life. We could not be happier not only to have created a beautiful space but to know that someone gets to enjoy their home more than ever.
