Rammed Earth House

Seal Rocks is a raw and ruggedly beautiful place on the NSW North Coast. It is surrounded by National Park, accessed by a dirt road and has little to no services. The Seal Rocks House has been designed and built by Castlepeake to fit with these conditions. Materials including rammed earth, concrete, plywood and steel have been left in their raw state to create a place where you go to get 'back to basics'. Likewise the planning is simple; arranged in two pavilions forming an 'L' shape around a private, grassy courtyard which opens to the National Park beyond.
