Maintaining the budget was paramount for the clients. The existing bathroom had relatively new products in it and so it was decided to reuse what was possible.
By using a plain tile on the majority of walls, it was doable to splurge on a small more exotic feature tile in a prominent location. Darker floors in a textured pattern give grounding to the scheme and are complimentary to the timber surround of the vanity. These timber touches provide a connection to other areas of the house where timber is part of the décor.
By floating the vanity and creating a walk in shower, the space feels spacious and is easy to clean.
LED down lights have been used to ensure an energy efficient home.
