About Us

Royston Wilson Design (RWD) is an International award winning design practice. Our work encompasses kitchen, bathroom, building & interior design as well as colour consulting. Specialising in mid to high level residential projects, the name is synonymous with design excellence and creativity. The designers work solely or in conjunction with individuals, property developers and architectural firms. We offer practical design solutions ideally suited to smaller residential applications through to major development companies. The Team are all passionate about design and collectedly have achieved accolades for creative design excellence. We have now completed 2 renovations on our city residence a complete rebuild of the beach house and a further renovation of an investment property with Katrina Luxton of Royston Wilson Design. All I can say is that when you meet perfection you hang onto it! She is the most practical designer who executes the most amazing design. She listens to what you want to achieve and most excitingly executes it with class. She is not afraid of saying "no" when we got carried away, but also was very happy to include our ideas to change her design elements to enhance the whole project. Practicality and functionality were her cornerstone without compromise of the design elements, Always punctual, meticulously presented, delivered plans on time and spent days taking us around to suppliers to make sure we knew what products and options were out there. We were always informed when we made our decisions about products. Katrina is backed up by Royston who of course has many years in the design industry to guide her and her clients.

The current project was to design a bathroom and to renovate an open plan living area. I am now in the process of selecting a quote so it is not complete but I have been extremely happy with the design process. This is in fact the fourth time I have used Royston Wilson Design, which indicates that I have been very happy with their work. Royston has previously designed a bathroom and kitchen for my house and redesigned a large office work/reception area for my business. Some of the reasons I like working with Royston Wilson design is I know the design will be practical, it will still look modern years later, the staff have an excellent knowledge of products and an ability to use colour effectively. Royston is also very willing to listen to what the client wants and is responsive to feedback.

Royston provided both a wealth of experience and an intuitively right insight into the design requirements that we strove to articulate. His colour sense and integration of different elements gave us a great product that works so very well.
