+ COPA HOUSE +

The layout of the existing house was highly restrictive with a number of isolated spaces that resulted in dark circulation and wasted space. Topped off with beige walls and terracotta tiled bathrooms, the house and its welcoming clients needed help.

A newer rear extension had extremely high raked ceilings and the clients wanted to extend on this and create a lofty look. One more akin to that of warehouses and other industrial structures

Our design drew inspiration from this industrial style through of stripped-back architectural details including the use of natural timbers and black joinery, as well as salvaged and recycled materials.

Despite its simplicity and minimal design tropes, this industrial style home manages to create a bold statement through the deliberately raw and rustic vibe.
