The concept for the house was to provide the clients with a sleek, low scale “Palm Springs” inspired home that projected out of the site, hovering there capturing the spectacular view. The low scale form of the house, coupled with large awnings will aid in the house nestling into the landscape seeking shelter when the harsh coastal weather arises. There is a simple Material pallet that has been applied, comprising stone, concrete and lightweight cladding for low maintenance
