At Compass Kitchens we worked with our client's ideas on this project to design an open modern Kitchen that helped connect the interior with the functionality of their outside spaces. In doing so, together we designed a very social, easy-care kitchen with clean lines, efficient storage, functionality and style.

For this project, our client selected resilient satin Caesarstone Emperadio Benchtops with Mitred Waterfall Ends. For the Flat panel Doors and Faces, we used a Gloss Polyurethane Two-Pack flat in Honey Oat and for the Bases and the peninsular Bar Back Panel we used a contrasting Satin two-pack finish in Mossy Road. We incorporated inset handle rails which we also painted to match, and complimenting this contemporary flat look.

We continued this style with an Undermount Sink and a black Nobili Gooseneck Tap that blended into the benchtops. The client selected Smeg Appliances and we concealed into the wall bank a Bosch Fully Integrated Dishwasher and we aligned the Wine Cooler, Built-in Microwave Oven and Wall Oven into the design.

We installed Opti-Clear Glass Splashbacks with a contrasting colour; Grainstore. The tall units were finished all the way to the ceiling with a contrast Shadow mould at the ceiling junction and for the step-down overhead flaps above the appliance space we used the mechanised Blum Aventos servo-drives; that open at the touch of a finger. We installed concealed LED strip lights above this appliance nook and our client also selected the Blum Intivo full-extension drawers throughout including the pantry; where these all have soft-close runners and frosted glass panel sides.
