Traditionally Hand Painted French Provincial Kitchen
This French Provincial Style Kitchen Renovation project in Adelaide was quite extensive and required that we first remove an existing wall along with the tiled flooring. We then erected a new back wall for the Kitchen perpendicular to the one we removed so to orientate the Kitchen in a different direction so it maximized the stunning rural sea views as well as now bringing the living areas together as one social space for the family.
We also built the new Boral LedgeStone surround Fireplace and TV column and LedgeStone back wall to the Falcon Oven.
We custom made this Kitchen with White Fantasy Granite Benchtop. This French Provincial style Kitchen was sealed in a Traditional Hand Paint finish though we do also offer this in two-pack. We designed this kitchen to include characteristic provincial Bolection Moulded Drawer fronts, with contrast Raised panel Doors plus traditional Reid End columns with Roundel capitals and a wide Inglenook. All the tall cabinets were then topped with our Classic head moulding and Dentil Mould relief as are all typical features of the classic French Provincial style.
We installed a Belfast Butlers sink into the generous kitchen island, along with an Edwardian Style Ionian tap set by Perrin & Rowe and again all in keeping with this French Provincial Style.
We designed and made the Inglenook Fireplace incorporating a Mantle and we Hand Carved the support Corbels set over an AGA Falcon Oven Range and then concealed above this is an efficient Whispair Monte Carlo 120 Undermount Rangehood with an inline fan and remote motor for quiet extraction making it easy to have a conversation while cooking and entertaining. Our Client chose a Miele integrated Dishwasher which we concealed to look like Pot Drawers. We also concealed their favourite Coffee machine so to preserve the continuity and character of this French Provincial Style Kitchen.
We also made the matching bookcases in the adjoining lounge for our client to flank the new Chimney and Stonework that we also designed and built where we fitted a new Escea Fireplace and an LCD TV.
Following all this structural work and the manufacture & Installation of this quality French Provincial Kitchen and lounge cabinetry, we then Laid and Polished Parquetry Flooring using Stringybark throughout plus inlaid banded borders, whereby unifying all these floor areas.
Overall this was a very satisfying though complex project with a complete re-orientation of this space. This renovation resulted in a huge transformation, while also maximizing the magnificent views that this prestigious property offers; making this Kitchen Renovation a very family-friendly area and in inviting space when entertaining friends.
