A delightful extension in SE15
For this project, our client had almost 9m of unused space to the side of their existing property. This demonstrates just how much space you can gain by simply filling in your side return - and the end result is fantastic.
The homeowner wanted to move their dining space to the rear of the property, to allow them to extend their living area in the front. They also wanted to add a utility space to house their washing machine and dryer. They wanted a downstairs WC, so we managed to squeeze in a generously sized WC between the utility space and new U-shaped kitchen.
The three large Velux windows and large bi-fold doors ensure that the new space isn't short of light. The exposed brick wall adds a rustic, warm feature to the overall look of the room.
