For this scheme, our clients wanted to open up the space to accommodate their growing family. They wanted a bright and airy dining area, and a generous kitchen size with an island feature. They also wanted to incorporate a small WC, which we've tucked underneath the staircase to make use of all the space available.

The kitchen area joins onto a living space, which our clients were keen to keep separate from one another. We recommended they choose two access points, which is fantastic for families with young kids as you don't get under each others feet. The layout allows for segregation between the rooms, but still creates a very open and sociable atmosphere.
