A verdant haven with whispers of blooms throughout the year

This is a new build in a new private estate in Narre Warren North. It had a large area so lots to plant out! One key concern especially along the fencelines was to create a sense of privacy as the neighbour's house is higher than the clients so they are able to look into the client's garden and dining/entertaining areas. The clients also wanted a practical but nice alfresco/entertaining area that flows from the house seamlessly. There was also some element of future proofing - ie to allow spaces for future kids to have a play and adventure exploring the garden's individual pockets and as a whole! The deisn prioritised vista's from the house and played with colours and different textures of green to give a strong layered impact to the garden. A key vista is the side garden view out of my client's office window - where she loves looking at the jasmine trellis, layered planting and colourful maples very much! The other side garden looks into a large grassed area and lush planting along the fenceline. The planting palette consists of a mix of natives with non natives which is my planting style to create a strong seasonal impact to the garden which the client truly enjoys. She captures all the changes and flowers on her phone and is excited to discover a change in the garden each time she wanders out! She loves that the garden changes so much over the year!
