The client’s brief was to give her yard a new life and update it to create spaces more suitable to their family. The front garden fencing and planting update would allow the family to have more use of the space which had been under-utilised in its current arrangement cut off from the house.

An addition of a pool to the rear garden created a focal point for the entertaining area and provided the opportunity to be creative in ensuring privacy from neighbours. The addition of an outdoor kitchen including pizza oven was to be connected to the dining area.

A fire pit area with feature brick paving and wall with built in seating allows for the family to warm up on those cooler winter nights. The planting was designed to feel fresh and lush, with different textures and colours, as well as a productive garden with fruit trees and herbs.
