There is so much about this kitchen that draws the eye. Its style is mid-century (1950-60) with elements of vintage. The wooden doors, slate floor and chimney area all beautifully speak of eras gone by. It was important to the client to keep the chimney area as a feature, but update its style and function. The colors and textures work harmoniously with various levels of lustre to create a lighter, more functional and pleasant space in which to work, yet maintaining all pieces of special interest.
