“Sleek and modern” is the best way to describe this kitchen. It is characterized by glossy, flat cupboard doors, non-decorative handles below the bench, and waterfall-edged bench tops framing the cabinetry to the floor. The colors are light and fresh, the glossy cupboards reflecting both natural and borrowed light. The footprint has been kept mostly the same as in the original kitchen in order to work with the existing flooring. The load-bearing post has been tastefully incorporated into the design so as not to detract from the open plan. Storage space has been maximized and the flow of work space is convenient. Overall a great result!
