It’s typical, in the older style homes, that there would be two dining rooms; One for every day family use and the other for more formal occasions or larger groups of people. Our clients, David and Nicole’s, house was no exception. The room behind the kitchen was classed as the formal dining room which, now with a modern way of living in our homes, is no longer a good use of space. David and Nicole were keen to make their kitchen larger and use the old formal dining room to do this. Our designer, Michael, helped make this a reality so that the new, larger space didn’t become impractical but completely functional and a dream to work in!
