The brief for this kitchen was to create a modern, light & bright kitchen, functional yet stylish space, creating clever storage solutions options.
Looking at this stunningly bright kitchen, it’s hard to believe that the previous kitchen was dark black laminate with dark timber edged benchtop. Utilising the natural light together with white on white 2 pack high gloss cabinetry, stone benchtops and mirrored splashback, the designer from Rosemount Kitchens was able to achieve the clients brief.
The main footprint of this kitchen did not need to altered, as the work triangle (fridge, cooktop & sink) worked well, but storage was a major concern to the clients. To optimise storage space, 2 LeMans units were added to the blind corners, pull out drawers were added to the pantry and adding a bank of drawers made this a breeze to work in. Integrating the dishwasher and pull-out cargo bin, meant that the aesthetics of the kitchen were not compromised.
This project showcases a renovated family home that worked with the natural elements of its surrounds to create a bright, light-filled, inviting and functional kitchen- dining area that is a pleasure to work in or simply just be in.
