Northcote
This kitchen refurbishment is a blend of industrial-inspired and contemporary design. It has many visible and concealed features and combines textured charcoal two-pack paint, white-gloss overhead cupboards, a crisp white Quantum Quartz bench top and recycled timber.
We extended the kitchen by 1m, added a new window and made a feature of the exposed new brickwork. The sink is tucked in along this bench and the adjacent bench features a white personalised glass splash back. We discussed the idea with the homeowners and settled on a subtle black and white digi-print of the family at the beach in Philip Island. Our customers sourced the timber for the island bench through a local builder and decided on this because it has a lot of character. The corners feature finger joints, which add another layer of design detail and compliment the industrial-inspired design.
