Part of a custom spec build in McLean. The goals here were to create a classic, simple and elegant kitchen that would be universally appealing to buyers and stand the test of time. We opted for a white inset flat panel doors to reduce bulkiness. Then to give it a more traditional look we added a framing bead to the inside edge of the door and a standard bead to the outside edge of the door. The flat panel inset door provide for a more modern feel in the traditional layout. We carried the same door style into the master but used a medium stain to give it a warm feel and offset some of the cold tones of the marble floors. We used a shaker style door in all other areas to give it a coupe more modern touches.
