The before and after on this project is dramatic and the photos don't even do this kitchen justice. The homeowners had a very clear vision from the start and we just helped fill in the blanks. When it comes to a contemporary kitchen red birch is our go-to wood species of choice. Its amazing how much character there is in the grain compared to other woods. The movement and depth in the wood provides a really nice contrast to the uniformity of the tile and counter top.
