Originally a small closed off kitchen with limited cabinet storage. Our goal was to utilize the high ceilings to maximize the storage space. By taking down a wall and going to the ceiling with the cabinets it also makes the space feel much bigger. Fortunately we were able to take advantage of a nook by the back door where we added a recessed pantry to add more storage space. Since there's no room for a table the island doubles as prep space and seating.
