This is a renovation to an existing character home. The existing home had a previous extension in the 80s which was badly planned with a dark cold living area. The new brief was to replan the existing interior layout to improve the functionality, light and breeze and then to add on a new master bedroom wing. We moved the kitchen from its existing location and chopped out the centre of the house to make a lovely northern deck of the living area to let the light in. The house now flows into the garden to the north and south.
