With fantastic views to bush and over Somerset Dam, this design needed to make the most of outlook to the water, while protecting from the western sun. Designed for two, this project required some lateral thinking to combine the existing guest house with an extensive outdoor entertaining area that works around the fire pit and BBQ. The home is completely open across the building to make the most of cool breezes, uses low maintenance materials externally and sits comfortably into the beautiful bush colours and surrounds.
