Wellness centre bathroom provides a day spa experience at home
Designed to be a peaceful sanctuary for the enjoyment of the couple who own this home, this wellness centre acts as their own secluded retreat. When they approached the Brindabella design team to create their new space, the couple wanted their ensuite to act as an extension of their bedroom. They also wanted to avoid traditional designs and create a unique environment in which to unwind.
Inspired by influential Munich designer Michael Sieger, Brindabella created a bathroom where the couple can escape the rest of the world in unrivalled comfort. Unlike typical ensuites, this wellness centre is not concealed but instead incorporated as a well-appointed feature of the bedroom. This is achieved in part by an open floor plan and the cleverly situated dressing table that seamlessly joins the two spaces.
To ensure the bedroom and ensuite flow smoothly, every effort has been made to make the bathroom seem like a natural part of the bedroom furnishings. Gold-laced feature tiling and a high-gloss polyurethane vanity ensure this occurs, while at the same time creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
The Italian limestone tile floor is heated all the way to the edge of the bed — the perfect luxurious touch for those chilly winter months — and an internal odourless system in the exhaust structure promises comfort and practicality.
Brindabella has created a unique space that is the perfect place to relax. Bathroom and bedroom merge into one to form a peaceful haven in which to seek solace and recuperate.
