These additions are attached to the southern face of an old bluestone cottage.
To enable the new living spaces to enjoy the northerly aspect a courtyard was created, separated by a new kitchen that faces into the court as well. corrugated metal cladding was used for the external wall material as it is in character with what would have been the "old lean-to". To complete the alteration work the rooms of the existing cottage have been refurbished and new bathrooms and laundry added. Floors throughout are polished concrete.
